The Swagcycle PRO can go as fast as 18-26 mph at full throttle and has a battery range of 15 miles (but this proved not to be the case in our tests). The battery takes about 3~4 hours to charge and the bike weighs about 30.4 lbs / 13.8 kg.
The bike has a Max Load of 264 lbs / 120 kg, and No matter the weather, this electric bicycle’s IP54 rating means that it’s impervious to water splashes as you ride through rain or shine.

They’re super compact when folded, which is excellent for storage and transport. The Swagcycle folds up to be just under 29 inches long and weighs only 30 lbs—so it’s easy to carry around in a car or store in a closet. It comes with a convenient carrying case that makes transporting the bike easier.
Because of its small size, it’s also straightforward to carry upstairs. We tested this by having our test rider take the folded bike upstairs and through narrow hallways without getting hung up on furniture or walls—and he could do so effortlessly.
Reach speeds up to 18 mph
While the Swagcycle PRO may sound fast, keep in mind that your bike’s speed depends on several factors:
- Your ability—this will be determined by terrain, weather, and road conditions. If you have never ridden a motorized modified bike before, we would recommend starting off slowly.
- The terrain — if the terrain is flat with no inclines or declines, this will allow for a higher speed than if there were hills or bumps along your path.
- The weather — for example, if strong winds are blowing against you – there will be some sort of wind resistance that will probably affect max speed you can achieve.
- Battery capacity — depending on what type of battery pack Swagtron uses on its models (they change them every year),
- it could limit how fast they go without losing power during long rides such as those longer than 4 hours away from home where charging stations may not be widely available.
Extra-long range with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery
The Swagcycle PRO comes with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery to deliver extra long content and hours of riding time.
With the same size wheels as its predecessor, the Swagtron Swagger, this e-bike can go for miles without needing to charge or stop at a power outlet. The battery life is excellent: you can ride for hours before you need to recharge it.

The rear fender disc brake is a welcome addition to the Swagcycle PRO. Disc brakes provide superior stopping power, safety, and durability compared with their rim-brake counterparts.
- Superior stopping power
Disc brakes can dissipate heat more efficiently than rim brakes because they have larger brake pads and calipers that create a greater surface area for dissipation.
They also generate less heat because they don’t have to clamp onto a narrow rotor as traditional rim brakes do.
- Better safety features
Because of their design, disc brakes provide better leverage than traditional ones when applied in an emergency, such as skidding out or locking up while turning sharply into traffic on wet roads.
Cons
The Swagcycle Pro does have some drawbacks, though. The battery takes about three to four hours to fully charge, which isn’t as fast as some other electric scooters.
Wheels work best on paved roads.
The Swagcycle Pro can handle any terrain, but it’s not as good at going off-road as a mountain bike or on rough terrain compared to a road bike.
However, this is an excellent option if you want something that can get around town quickly and get up some decent speed on flat surfaces (especially when using the throttle).
Charge time could be better.
The charge time is about four hours, which isn’t bad—however, since the battery life is only 15 miles and can be charged at home or in the car with the included charging cable (it doesn’t have a USB-C port), so you’ll probably spend more time setting it than you will be riding it.

We find the Swagtron Swagcycle PRO an excellent option for people looking for a way to get around that doesn’t involve using their own energy.
Its lightweight, foldable frame makes it easy to carry and store when not in use while still being able to reach speeds up to 18 mph on paved roads or trails.
The built-in smartphone charger is also a nice touch that adds extra convenience when traveling long distances without needing access outlets along your route.
